Hrr??? So you are trying to say, breaking a law is not considered illegal?
Is not breach of contract in which you can be in a LAWsuit kinda showing that some law was broken, hence illegal, hence against the law, hence you get into a lawsuit?
I'm not a lawyer, but you must be in order to put out such technical mumbojumbo which is mere semantics and euphamisms for breaking a law and calling it not lawbreaking.

I am in NY trust me what the UKer said is true. The most action they can take against you is civil, so they would take you to court and try to recover damages which still DOES NOT make it illegal

Technically breach of contract is and is not illegal. For 1 you cannot be brought up on criminal charges therefore NOT illegal. You can be brought up on civil charges. It is the equivalent if i were to be bitten by a dog. The only thing i can do is go to court and recover damages. Is it illegal for the dog to bite me? No.
